Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 May 2026

These are the terms under which we offer Auvre. By creating an account or making a purchase, you accept them. They are plain. Read them.

1. What Auvre is

Auvre is a self-knowledge iOS app that reads your own TikTok data export and produces a literary read — six metric scores, one combined Auvre Score, a headline, seven prose sections, and a daily Practice between reads. Auvre is operated by Stelios Papapetrou (sole proprietor) referred to below as "we", "us", or "Auvre".

2. Eligibility

You must be at least seventeen years old to use Auvre. The App Store rates it 17+.

You must only upload TikTok data exports that belong to you — i.e., that you yourself downloaded from your own TikTok account via Settings → Account → Download your data. Do not upload anyone else's data.

3. Your account

Auvre uses Sign in with Apple. We do not see your password. Your account is tied to the opaque Apple identifier Sign in with Apple returns to us. You are responsible for keeping access to that Apple ID secure.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Auvre is sold through Apple's in-app purchase. We currently offer four products:

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the end of each period at the price shown above, charged to your Apple ID, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Pricing may vary by region; the in-app price shown to you at purchase is the price you pay.

5. Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.

If Apple grants a refund on the One Read consumable, we may revoke access to the unlocked scan. If Apple grants a refund on a subscription, the subscription is terminated as of Apple's effective date and we move your account back to free.

6. What Auvre is not

Auvre is not medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic advice. It does not diagnose any condition. It does not provide treatment or care. The prose is a literary reading of behavioural patterns from your TikTok export — not a clinical assessment. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or a crisis hotline.

7. Your content; our content

You own the TikTok data you upload. We process it under the terms of our Privacy Policy to produce your Auvre. The generated prose and metric scores ("your Auvre") are generated for you, by you uploading your data — you may screenshot, share, repost, or quote any of it. We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated patterns (no individual data) to improve the product.

The app design, code, brand, copy, and methodology are ours, protected by copyright and trademark.

8. Acceptable use

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time — Settings → Delete Account in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose abuse risk to the service, without notice. Termination by us does not entitle you to a refund of Apple-billed periods you have already used.

10. Disclaimers

Auvre is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the prose will accurately reflect any particular truth about you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability arising from or relating to your use of Auvre is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 if you have paid us nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we change them in a way that meaningfully affects your rights, we will say so on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Auvre after a change takes effect counts as acceptance. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively before the courts of Athens, Greece — unless a mandatory consumer-protection law of the country you live in gives you the right to sue locally, in which case that right applies.
