Terms of Service
These are the terms under which we offer Auvre. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Auvre.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Auvre. Auvre is currently offered through the U.S. App Store; availability in other regions is not guaranteed.
2. Account
You sign in to Auvre with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. One person, one account — operating multiple accounts, impersonating another person, or letting someone else use yours is grounds for termination.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any other user.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, including photos of other people without their consent.
- Impersonate another person, real or fictional.
- Attempt to identify or contact another user outside the app without their consent.
- Solicit money, sexual content, or commercial business through the app.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the matching system, the Auvre generation pipeline, or any underlying models.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party.
You also agree to follow the Apple Media Services Terms to the extent they apply to in-app content.
4. Your content; what you grant us
You retain ownership of the photos, biography, messages, and other content you provide ("Your Content"). You grant Auvre a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, process, and transmit Your Content for the purpose of operating the service — including reading your TikTok export to generate your Auvre and using your profile to make introductions to other users. We do not sell Your Content or use it to train external models for any purpose other than operating Auvre.
You represent that you have the right to share Your Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
5. The Auvre and matching
The Auvre we generate is an interpretive read of behavioural patterns. It is not a fact. The introductions we make are probabilistic and offered in good faith — we do not promise you will find a partner, that any particular introduction will lead somewhere, or that any other user is who they say they are. Use ordinary care when meeting anyone for the first time.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Auvre offers an optional premium subscription billed through Apple. Apple is the merchant of record. Pricing is shown in the app at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period; cancel through your Apple ID settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. We cannot directly issue refunds for purchases Apple processed.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). After a seven-day cooling-off window, deletion is permanent — see the privacy policy for what we remove.
We can suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, for repeated abuse reports against you, for fraud, or to comply with law. Where we can, we will tell you why; where we cannot — for safety reasons or legal reasons — we will not.
8. Disclaimers
Auvre is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any introduction will result in a relationship.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auvre and its sole proprietor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Auvre in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages — in those jurisdictions, the limits above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Auvre harmless against any claim brought by a third party arising out of your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact support@auvre.app and try to resolve it informally for at least thirty days.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, the dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware, in English. You and Auvre waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class action. This paragraph does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property, and does not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will say so in the app or on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Auvre after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
